The ReSound Standard Charger (sometimes called the standard case charger) is a durable, hard-shell desktop charging case designed for daily use on a nightstand. Unlike the open-top Desktop Charger, it features a physical protective lid to keep dust and pets away from your devices while they charge overnight.

Key Features and Benefits

- Protective Hard-Case Shell: Features a robust snap-closed lid that protects your sensitive hearing instruments, receiver wires, and domes from accidental drops, dust, and moisture.
- Inductive Charging Technology: Uses contactless inductive wells. There are no delicate metal pins or prongs that can snap, bend, or collect skin oils over time.
- Magnetic Positioning: High-strength internal magnets automatically pull the hearing aids into perfect alignment the moment you drop them into the left (blue) and right (red) slots.
- 3-Hour Full Charge: Completely replenishes flat lithium-ion cells in 3 hours, providing up to 30 hours of continuous operating life.
- 10-Minute Emergency Boost: A quick 10-minute stay inside the active case provides an emergency 2.5 hours of runtime.

⚠️ Crucial Battery and Compatibility Rules

To ensure this accessory works for you, it is important to understand its electrical and structural limitations:

- No Internal Power Bank: The ReSound Standard Charger does not contain a built-in travel battery. It must remain plugged into a live wall outlet or USB port via its USB-C cable to transfer power. If the case is unplugged, the hearing aids will automatically power on, whistle, and drain their batteries.
- Model Separation: ReSound splits this charger into specific physical variations because their hearing aid bodies change size every few years:
  1. 1. Standard Charger for Nexia: Carved with micro-slots specifically to fit the ultra-small ReSound Nexia microRIE aids.
    2. Standard Charger for OMNIA: Sculpted to fit the standard-sized ReSound OMNIA RIE hearing aid line.
    3. Standard Charger for ONE: Built explicitly for the legacy, squared-edge ReSound ONE housing.
